About Us
Quintet Clash Ontario is an innovative tournament that changes jiujitsu combat with team-based format, where 5 individuals form teams and compete in a round-robin tournament against other teams. Join us for this exciting competition.
As athletes ourselves, we wanted to bring to Ontario a format that has recently exploded online, Quintet. The best part about Jiujitsu is the people you train with, and this tournament blends the fun of Jiujitsu gym comradery, and the thrill of competition.
The Rules of Quintet Clash
Teams of 5
General Rules
Fees
6 Teams of 5 will square off in this clash of gyms. Each team member is guaranteed a match through the "Next-in-Line" rule whereby each competitor must start in one of the 5 matches of the day. This way, until each competitor competes, everyone will start a new competitor and ensure everyone gets a match guaranteed.

BLUE BELT LEVEL
6 Teams (5 competitors per team)
5 minute rounds
Winner fights on, No Break, No Substitutes
1 Injury Reserve Competitor per team (optional)
Round Robin (every team competes head-head for a total of 5 matches each)
Adult 18+ Tournament
900LBS TEAM LIMIT
Each team will pay an entry fee of $450 to participate. This includes, two coaches per team.
Misc.
Food Stand will sell food including Pizza, Gatorade, Water, Granola/Power bars
